  • Acquisition of £7.2M Clinical Research Infrastructure funding from the Wellcome Trust (I was the co-ordinating applicant).
  • The Medical School increased postgraduate student numbers by more than any other part of the University.
  • The GMC commended the undergraduate training programme.
  • The Medical School moved from financial deficit to financial surplus.
